BreatheCON is Back!

We're excited to share that our friends at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will be hosting another year of BreathCON. If you missed it last year you can read about it below from Aimee Lecointre (our nutrition blogger) and find out how to sign up to particpate:

It’s back! BreatheCON is back for its second year and it’s going to be another good one!

BreatheCON is a virtual event for adults, 18 and over, with cystic fibrosis put together by adults with CF. We gather together online to chat, make connections and build relationships, share our stories, and support and learn from one another.

This year BreatheCON will be held on September 8 & 9. You can register now by clicking here. You can also learn more about this year’s speakers, check out the program, and get some technology tips to make sure you are all set to go.

Join us this year for some amazing keynote speakers, small video breakouts covering a wide variety of topics, group chats, and fun activities.

Some of the activities include live yoga, mindfulness-based stress reduction, a live Q&A about singing with CF and more.

Last year was the first ever BreatheCON and I had the pleasure of being able to share yoga with everyone. It was so much fun being able to share something I love, and that has greatly helped me in dealing with many aspects of dealing with my life with CF, with our amazing community.

BreatheCON 2016 was the first time many adults with CF were able to interact with others who had CF!

Many others, including myself, made connections and built friendships that are still going strong.

As we all know, CF can be an incredibly isolating disease at times, to be able to hear others stories, including struggles and successes, and to just talk about life with others who truly get it...well, there’s nothing quite like it.

This year I have had the great pleasure of being on the working team to help put BreatheCON together, and while my role was small, it’s been exciting to see it all come together. I know you all are going to love it!

Can’t wait to see you there!
