Maria has been dancing since grade school and has always had a passion and love for it. "I can lose track of time and enjoy myself physically and mentally without dance feeling like a chore or exercise routine." As well as being a successful full time student at the International Academy of Design and Technology, she stays busy taking care of herself and not letting CF stop her from reaching her goals. Maria used her grant to take dance lessons in hopes of being accepted onto a professional dance team.
