Cody is a second time recipient of a recreation grant for karate. He has found that his skills have improved as well as his breathing. Karate has taught him not to give up on trying to improve his health. Cody is a blue belt in karate and also does weapons competitions. As well as teaching Cody to protect himself it has shown him better ways to contain his anger. Cody used his grant to pay for karate classes. He has been in many tournaments over the last year or so and has won trophies and awards for his skills.
