Jacob has been participating in karate since he was 5 and aspires to reach the black belt level. Karate is his favorite sport, not only because of the skills he learns but because of the extra activities that come along with it, like summer camp. Jacob also plays the drums and works hard in school to get good grades. Jacob used his grant to pay for ongoing karate classes.
