Kevin used his recreation grant to continue swimming on his swim team. Swimming is his favorite activity, not only because it improves his lung function but because he likes meeting new friends. He often has a hard time doing everything he wants to do and getting all of his treatments in, but he knows for a fact that he has never missed a treatment. Even when that has meant getting up at 5 AM to do them before a 7 AM swim practice. He knows that he must do his treatments and keep up with his swimming in order to be strong and healthy. Kevin recently qualified for the Junior Olympics team in 6 events in his state.
