Mona was diagnosed with CF at the age of 65. She attributes this to her walking several times a week, 2-3 miles, for the last twelve years. She has always led an active lifestyle and knows that keeping up with it is key to her living a long life. She used her grant to get a gym membership so that in the colder months she can continue to walk. She hopes to expand her exercise to include weight training and more cardio. She knows that having a gym membership will be great motivation to get up and moving everyday. “This should enable me to continue for many years to come in good health!”
