Omar is on a tight budget due to being in school full time and only being able to work part time. He works hard to stay healthy by taking his medications and doing his breathing treatments. He used his recreation grant to get a gym membership. He has been going to the local park to play basketball whenever he can but with a gym membership he will be able to workout, play basketball, and run. Omar always pushes himself physically because he knows the direct connection between being active and being healthy with CF. Every time he exercises he feels his CF symptoms lessen and has an overall positive feeling. Staying active helps him get through his daily medical routine and gives him energy to do well at school and work.
