Savannah used her grant to do one of her favorite activities, gymnastics. Gymnastics helps keeps Savannah active and is a great way to get airway clearance and meet new friends. Savannah is so young that she still doesn't really understand why she has to take medications and do treatments so getting to do an activity like gymnastics is a real treat and a nice break from her daily routine. Her mother says, "...this grant will give her the opportunity to participate in an activity that she loves that will make her happy, take her mind off her cystic fibrosis, and also help her health at the same time."
