Taylor has received recreation grants from CFLF for dance for the last two years. Receiving the grant last year allowed Brooke to continue dancing at the competitive level and to compete in solos and duets. Since being awarded her first grant in 2013 she has remained very healthy, and happy. Dancing is something that Taylor truly loves and is passionate about, she also knows that it keeps her healthy and gives her a positive attitude about her CF. "I truly believe that if I did not dance, I would not be in the physical health condition that I am in today... Dancing is an outlet for me, and it allows me to express my feelings."
